Serving customers for thirty years at The Pear Tree On Main Street in Canton, NY

While working at a local museum thirty years ago, my focus on up-keep of the historic house, greeting visitors, day-to-day office management, organizing programs and exhibits, and arranging flowers, made my move to owning and managing my own Main Street gift shop in this Northern New York college town an easy transition.

Service to customers is foremost.

With my love of art, appreciation for beauty, and a tradition of hard work, I strive daily to help my customers choose the right gift, wrap it without charge in beautiful paper and send it on its way. My view of my customer is as a friend, and as such, each one is treated with respect, politeness, and help in selecting the perfect gif: Wedding registry, graduations, anniversaries, birthdays for family & friends.
